WeekenderNJ.com was created by Alie Pierce as a community news outlet. Alie is an advocate, human rights activist, mentor, journalist and entrepreneur who has always been fascinated by people’s stories and motivations. Pierce created WeekenderNJ to be a platform that celebrates our community stories, and showcases the lesser-known successes of neighbors, in order to support and encourage our generation and the next.
When she's not working on creating positive change in our community, she's exploring our neighborhoods, traveling the world, or at home creating new art and positive new ventures. Alie is also an avid walker - If you see her around Englewood, NJ feel free to say hello.
