Ciattarelli (R) is New Jersey Republicans' choice to take on incumbent Gov. Murphy (D) in November

Jack Ciattarelli, former state Assemblyman will run as the Republican party's nominee in the state's gubernatorial election on November 2, 2021. Ciattarelli received 49.5% of the vote.

Ciattarelli will challenge Democratic incumbent Phil Murphy in the November race for New Jersey governor. No Democrat has won the seat twice in 40 years.
